mood: blah
music: tori amos - a sorta fairytale
last year i amassed a pretty impressive cache of lyrics, quotes, and musings which i used as away messages on aim. since i didn't want to lose them at the end of the year (they were on my rommate's computer) i compiled them and emailed them to myself. i just recently found them and all i can think is how strange and beautiful it is that i have such a unique picture of myself from the past: my life, my love, the totality of my being perfectly captured in the fabric of so many...away messages...curious, i know.

mood: obsessed
music: styrofoam
i have spent over 7 hours roaming the pages of wikipedia and the internet in general, eagerly devouring any and every article pertaining to modern art, the context and location of its creation, its politics, and its consumption.
i am addicted.
i am obsessed.
funny, considering not too long ago i was one of the most bitter/caustic critics of contemporary art and all that it stands for.
this is only fueling that burning desire to leap and wait for the net to appear.
i think it's paris that's burning.
scratch that, i KNOW it's paris that burns.
afterthought--
swans reflecting elephants
good name for my memoirs?
yes.
