You represent... playfulness.
You represent... playfulness.
Playfulness can often be mistaken for sluttiness or
flirtiness... Flirting is something you enjoy
doing, but you're mostly just about having fun.
You're into partying, and it's seems that
people enjoy your company as much as you enjoy
their's.

*summertime and the livin is easy...i think that will be my motto. you know, no need to rush around. it's the summertime! and also because you can't go anywhere fast anyway. too much damn construction. fuck you omaha, fuck you.

*hazaa...i'm back in action. appears as though we had upwards of 280 pieces of spyware on the computer. it's a good thing i stayed away from all those porn sites i frequent. who knows who or what could have seen that i was doing that.

*anyway, the world is mostly quiet these days. looks like i'm going to be working down at the john beasley theatre in the summer workshop for the childrens. yeah, me and the childrens. i will teach them theatre. should be interesting.

*in other news, the countdown to chang has begun. his not being here this summer is really cramping my style. we need him for the simple things. for example, molly has acquired this limp-wristed hand gesture from her hussie friends at the U of I. i told her she was not allowed to do that gesture because she was not a gay man. it just wasn't her right. she said she wanted a second opinion. so who would be the obvious choice to settle this? everybody's favorite gay mandarin buddy. but no, he's in minneapolis being independent and living a life that he loves...bastard. but that's okay. we will be there soooooon.

*i still miss chicago.

*that is all...thank you.

*wahoo! a name change! i thought it was about time that i had a tribute to HomeStar Runner. that site was such a huge part of my high school experience that i could no longer deny it the credit it deserved. so here's to you, Kyle "The Yellow Dart" Smith and your "Well Thought-Out Englilsh Paper!" i think Li'l Spicy would be proud.

*just in case any of you were wondering...i fucking hate Chase Bank. whatever you do stay as far away from those bitches as you can. just trust me on this one.

*um, okay, a quick update. my mom broke the computer again. seriously, every time she touches it, it malfunctions. so the posts may be slighlty sparse in the next few days. i will do the best that i can.

*i'm still searching through blogskins to find a suitable new design. i'm bored and i need a change, so i may put up a few new designs as a temporary fix. i recant my statement involving replacing the colors of the page with pink and black. that was extrememly harsh and uncalled for. my apologies.

*hey, check out the new links and titles on the sidebar. yeah, you like those, don't you, biatch?

*that is all...thank you.

*damn...i had this elaborate post all typed up, then i forgot to publish it before i closed the window. sigh...

*so let's try and summarize all the things i was going to say earlier:

-i need to get out of the house. i may be calling some of you later tonight. been thinkin about callin good ol' sammy meister. haven't talked to her in a minute and her bday is coming up. got a lunch date to be set sometime next week with christie. it would be great if some more of you guys wanted to get in on that. molly, sam, megan, etc..i'm lookin your way. also, has anyone talked to kara hanson?

-my new car is awesome. 85 mercury cougar. dark blue. two door. huge - reminds me of sammy's old ride. V8 engine. old school fabulous. bad-assitude - would be foe to recon with in game of bad-assmin or sandboxing (jeff). can't wait to drive it around the town. needs a good nickname, any ideas? let me know.

-it's amazing the way a year can put things into perspective. talked to megan glover and we agreed to forget all the drama of last summer and just kick it like old times. that's the way i feel about all my omaha folks. let's make this a summer to remember. can't wait to hear from those of you i haven't talked to yet.

-looking through blogskins.com is a nightmare. there's soo many to choose from. i guess that is actually a good thing. but getting through the crappy ones is proving to be a headache. so be patient, i should be able to get a new look going here in the next week or so.

- i added sam, bill, kaylan, and sam vasta's blogs to the links. definitely check those out if you have a minute. and as always, jen and molly and chang's spots are good for a laugh. also, i've just about got this comment thing down. so when it's up, you fuckers better put some up or i'll go joey castle on your asses. holler!

*that is all...thank you.

* i have randomly decided to change the colors of the blog. i think pink and black is in order. sorry boys.

*that is all..thank you.
*holy shit...blogger has a new format. it is strange and unfamiliar and i don't like it...boo urns.

*so as you may or may not know, i just spent some time down in new orleans. oh man, that was a gooooood time. but the one realization i have brought back with me is that the south is weird. it just is. and while i had planned an intricate and extensive series of posts dedicated to all of my witty thoughts and assessments of my excursion in the south, i also realized that i am lazy. so this is what you get. if you really want to talk in depth, feel free to ask me at a time that is not now.
this could get long. be sure to take adequate breaks and drink lots of water. gotta stay hydrated.
enjoy.

(ahem) IN NEW ORLEANS:

- people run red lights. seriously, i almost died at least 5 times every day. they pull up to the stoplight, acknowledge that it is red, then proceed to drive through it. don't mind me, i'm just driving through the green light at the same time. but it's okay, i don't mind being sideswiped once in a while. it builds character...

-crocodiles and alligators come out of the canals and into the neighborhood. because my great aunt lives down the street from the river, there are a series of levees and canals right by her house. whent it rains - and it did - the water levels in the canals rise and reptiles travel from the river into the canals, up the sides of the canals and out onto the streets. so when i woke up one morning and saw one crossing the driveway, i stayed inside for 3 days.

-cops break the speed limit. i was speeding, doing roughly 60 in a 45. the cop was going at least 20 miles faster than i was. he was not in hot pursuit of anything, and when i pulled up next to him at the next stoplight, he waved at me, and then ran the red light. this was not an isolated incident.

-cops buy seafood from the local seller while on duty. when we went to purchase some fish, a police cruiser was in the parking lot. i expected there had been some kind of trouble in the store. no, not at all. the officer just wanted some fresh catfish fillets. he said he was passing by, so he figured he would drop in. good to know he was out there serving and protecting...

-nuns eat at the casino. yes they do. we went out to dinner at one of the casinos and there was a group of nuns at the buffet. and one of them stood in one of the serving lines for fried shrimp for 5 minutes just eating everything they put out. she could have at least gotten a platter and gone back to the table. ah well, women of God got to get they grub on, too, i suppose.

-75 year old women grind on younger men at the bar. my whack ass second cousin took us to the bar one night (which was awful) and there was this lady who was at least 75, dressed to the nines (including standard baptist church wild hat) and she was moving like i had never seen before. at one point i think she humped the floor. party foul grandma...

-women have weave mullets. wtf you might say. at this same club, i saw a woman who had weave at the back of her head. but the front was done in finger waves. yep, a weave mullet. who the hell wears a mullet at all, much less puts in fake hair to have one? i bet her name was something like lashequanda - they always are.

-side note...everything about that bar was strange. is was as if all the rejected people of the city had gathered to party. i sat in the corner all night and at one point swore out loud that if any more strange old men asked me to dance, tried to buy me a drink or undressed me with their creepy old eyes, i would fucking cut some bitches...

-men hit on you at the grocery store. every time my aunt (not the great aunt, the regular one) went to the store, a different man would find it appropriate to attempt to coerce us into being his "ladyfriends." one man just plain followed us around. another guy regailed me with the tale of how a pit bull had attacked him just the other day as he rang us up. he winked at me. and i was like, "too bad i'm such a horrid bitch. if i wasn't maybe then i would care. and what the hell was with the wink?"

-Angie, LA is a city. more of a town thought. the kind with 3 houses and a gas station. the point is that it exists. i thought that was funny. that was for you, human Angie (Littlefoot)

-the rain hates me. we went on a boat cruise up the mississippi. the day was beautiful. relaxing on the sun deck drinking cape cods and pina coladas. but then the moment we docked, it got sinisterly dark and rained like a biatch. and i mean a mad biatch. so i wandered around the french quarter soaking wet. good times, except for the part where i was wearing flip flops and the sidewalks were flooded and i kept falling in front of all those hot guys. but other than that it was great. i bought the kanye west cd, some beignettes, and some fresh hot kettle corn, so i'd say it was a fair tradeoff...wait...

-i played out in the rain in the middle of nowhere in mississippi. there's this slaughterhouse where we always get sausage over in MS. while we were there, it started to rain. i got tired of staring at the meat plant workers and pig guts, so i played in the rain. can you blame me?

-sometimes confederate flags in the widows of gas stations deter you from stopping in to ask for directions. end of story.

-one day, i woke to find a horse walking down the street. don't know where he came from, don't know where he went. just knew he was there.

-as we were driving home there was a sign on the interstate that read as follows: prison area, do not pick up hitchhikers. yeah, i was a little on edge for about 5 miles or so as we passed the washington state pennitentury and correctional facility.

-they have a neighborhood chicken. yep. one day i was sitting at the bar in the kitchen when i noticed something at the sliding glass door. thought it was a stray cat. it was just the neighborhood chicken they explained to me. apparently he's been there for years. he wanders around and does what he wants. no one knows where he came from - no one bothers him. i'm sure the "what the motherfucking flying fuck?" look on my face was amusing. i saw him again when we were leaving to come home. he was eating from an overturned garbage can across the street. i chased him and took a picture while (unbeknownst to me at the time) my aunt took a blakcmail-worthy picture of me chasing the chicken ... sigh...

*well i think that's about it. as you can see, new orleans is a wonderful and backwards place where the politicians make fun of tennessee and kentucky on the news. good times. we should all go down together sometime!

*shit, i'm tired. not doing anything all day really wears me out. better go take a nap. i'm out like the fat kid in dodgeball...and you know he was out fast.

*by the way, i still need a thing to post comments. how the hell do i do that. also, quintin and ryan, you fuckers better post more often. also, if anyone wants me to add their blog as a link, just let me know.

*that is all...thank you.

Whaddup Doe.....
Although I have no one to dedicate this entry to, I will say this one is for you!

LMAO

ANywho, I have been in Coffey Hall for a few days now. Good times had by all yet again. I ran into APril and Jenny Martin, and Kate Danziger. Too bad I couldn't make it to Jenny's Cinqo de Mayo celbration. (If it is spelled worng then sue me....Spanish ain't important to me) Seeing how I phrased that, neither is English. Anyway, I have seen so many randoms on campus. Laurence of course is the most random. I'm gonna be managing him shortly so look out for the posters and flyers. Q is always crazy...apparently he has taken his case to criminal court and has a restraining order that keeps all flushing toilets 10 feet away from him at all time....LMAO. Jane is probably drinkin a diet coke right now and saying teacher teacher to the TV....sad thing is, she has no electricity in the house. Makes you wonder. I went with Kia to visit Angie last night. We had so much fun. Angie cooked for us and everything. Then she asked me why I haven't talked to a certain person and it was decided that I am a chicken shit and should et the balls to do that sometime soon...oh hoow smal she made me feel. I will call her eventually but right now just ain't the time. I have too much stuff on my mind....or so I would like to think. Right now I have this girl in high school thinking that we are talking to each other in hopes of getting together....Little does she know that i give everyone my cellphone number because I enjoy talking on the phone when I don't have shit else to do....her frind is cute though, I may holler at her. The friend is about to be a senior in high school and we are real cool....sounds like a future??? My ex-girlfriend is telling me all the problems that she is having with her current man...ha, couldn't have happened to a ncer person! Not that I despise either one of them, it's just that some people need a rough time to get through to them the deep understanding that they lack. I'm gonna wrap it up now cause i gotta go to sleep in Coffey and get a good nights rest. Holla back.....

P.S. Me and Kia spent alot of time together last night and I learned that her and I are so similar that it's scary. We both want the same things out of life and shit like that. She is shaping up into a really good friend and role model....Not that much older but she has me by two academic years.....That's okay, I'll catch up.

Holla at ya boi.....

*this is for molly and bill...you're lucky i heart you guys.

*so i was done with finals on the 21st...and yet, i still haven't been back to the big O yet. i've been squatting at my G-ma's house for about a week now and i don't intend to cease any time soon. my days consist mostly of eating, sleeping, and watching VH1 countdowns - oh how i have missed the world of television...

*but more importantly, i'm going to new orleans next week. yes, now would be the appropriate time to take a moment and feel jealous. yeah, i'm going under the guise of seeing the fam that lives down there, but in all reality, my favorite aunt and i intend to have some serious fun...oh the trouble i will be in down there! my only wish is that i don't turn up on a girls gone wild video. unless i get paid for it...

also, i have a date (urp, no, not THAT kind of date, Connor...) with my old compadre, billiam while i'm escapading around down south. nothing like wandering around the french quarter with the first person you ever made fun of in high school. brings back some memories doesn't it rico?

*on a side note...quintin...i tried to call your bootleg phone and figured you hadn't paid your bill becuase you were pissed off at sprint...turns out you dropped in the toilet. that's some funny shit. i only wish i could have been there to see it. well, afterwards i mean. watching people use the restroom is exceedingly bizarre and just not really my thing. if there are two things in the world i won't do, that is one...playing with "The African Snake" in "The African Bush" is the other...heh heh. if you don't know what that means already, you don't want to. and by the way, has anyone talked to anita lately?

inside joke song break: (courtesy of one Thulani LeGrier)
then we locked eyes
and i knew i was in there and i was gonna tear ya ass up
(tear ya ass up)
i know that i'm carryin on
never mind if i'm showin off
i was just frontin
you know i want you baby

*does anyone know how to make my blog so that people can post comments? for your assistance, i will provide sexual favors...just kidding. that's all sabrina right there...

*that is all...thank you.
