I JUST FOUND OUT THAT IUNA HAS A DMT MAESTRA.
Bresson's Movies

A movie of Robert
Bresson's showed a yacht,
at evening on the Seine,
all its lights on, watched

by two young, seemingly
poor people, on a bridge adjacent,
the classic boy and girl
of the story, any one

one cares to tell. So
years pass, of course, but
I identified with the young,
embittered Frenchman,

knew his almost complacent
anguish and the distance
he felt from his girl.
Yet another film

of Bresson's has the
aging Lancelot with his
awkward armor standing
in a woods, of small trees,

dazed, bleeding, both he
and his horse are,
trying to get back to
the castle, itself of

no great size. It
moved me, that
life was after all
like that. You are

in love. You stand
in the woods, with
a horse, bleeding.
The story is true.

se siente: so much relief post coffee with kristina
music: animal collective - my girls

i'm going to try this again. i don't know why, but we'll see what unfolds. i think it's probably. the result of some misplaced nostalgia. read this thing from the beginning and i see how far i've come. down many different roads.

see? see that? what the devil? i sound like the narration over a norman rockwell still life. i need to go have some...i don't know...fun. too bad god hates chicago and won't let summer come over and play.

i give up! i completely suck at blogging. turns out it was something i was only ever moderately good at. and that was in high school. i suppose i don't feel like i have much to say in paragraph form any more. mostly i tend to get my point across in intermittent facebook status updates.

good god, how sad. next i'll wake up to find i've gone and activated a twitter account...

mood: swell
music: pussy cat dolls - on top of the world

i've been remonstrated. apparently there are those who still care to keep track of the miscellany that comprises my everyday life. wha?

i can't get you up to speed right now. i'm watching the city, reading gawker, and dicking around on facebook. clearly i live a full and exciting, edge-of-your-seat lifestyle.

and, scene. gotta go. kelly cutrone is throwing out orange asterisks like it's going out of style.

mood: sleepy
music: michael scott - beers in heaven

happy new year. goodbye to 200Great (which actually kind of sucked) and hello to 200Fine!

so this song, 'single ladies (put a ring on it)' is beyonce's latest contribution to the world. it is omnipresent. the thing is, i like the beat - it's great to dance to. but i don't think i'm big on the message its sending.

come on,"if you liked it, then you should have put a ring on it."? isn't the divorce rate closing in on 1000%? the last thing we need is more young people (particularly the increasingly brainless population of twenty-something women) hell-bent on getting married and reproducing offspring they will inevitably ruin. it's cynical, i know. but it's a little bit true. admit it.

in sum, please do not put a ring on it. please do not put a ring on anything. no wedding rings, no engagement rings, no ringtones, no lord of the rings. let's just go ahead and avoid them altogether now, ok? great.
