*shit. i'm glad i'm over that whole quiz business...that was circus style if i do say so myself.

*well, about this whole omaha thing. it's gotten much better since everyone got home. as i noted earlier, i tournamented this weekend and the team was amazing as usual. it just goes to show what good mentors we were...right 03s? i thought so. anyway, saturday night proved to be just as exciting. we partied hard at big mike's...let me tell you, them's were goooooood times. just about every person i ever spoke to over the course of high school was there and we all got along just fine - alcohol tends to do that. it was refreshing to party without drama. it was the first time that had happened in well... um...i'm pretty sure it was a first.

monday found me lunching with fisch and the 03 winter players (except peter jensen) and it was good as well...mostly because fisch not only payed, but called adam on selling out to hawk during spring play last year. i'll just say that catching up and sharing drunken college stories is ALWAYS a good time. everyone should try it.

that night, we convened on sam's house and watched some old movies from freshman year and their middle school years. good times were had by all.

and the taco bell guy definitely look way down my shirt.

cody, you never really had a fat ass...and i still don't really see the difference between all those damn pitches.

*leaving for rantoul tomorrow to spend christmas with the family. back on sunday to go to the winter play girl's night out. i'll be chaperoning...now that's comical isn't it?

*time to pour one out for Jesus!

*That is all...thank you.

*most excellent...but really, does it matter which one? he's delicious any way you look at it...

^Aloha...holy it's weird to be graduated batman!

^So I'm home now. Yep. Home. Home diddly ome. That's right. JESUS CHRIST I'M BORED OUT OF MY MIND. Ahem. Yes. No one is here. But that will soon be changing. Sara and Chang will get here in a couple of hours, Jen comes back tomorrow, and Molly and Allyson come back on Saturday. A visit to Big Mike (the resident Van Wilder) must also take place very very soon. Things are looking up. Soon it will be time to get ridiculous...

^I took the train to get here. It was interesting to break the Amtrak hymen. All I have to say is that I'm taking the train wherever I go now - and that includes to the mailbox and all other local destinations. With two dining cars, a viewing car, Pirates of the Carribbean and 3 feet between seats, is there any other way to travel? I must say that this eases my mind about my 19 hour train ride to New York for spring break. See, Matt, we won't have to suffocate ourselves out of boredom! Yay!

^So I went back to old hellhole today. (Hellhole also being pronounced high school and making reference to Millard North.) I won't lie - it was a great ego booster. Everyone was all like. "Meh, Taria, we missed you so much - you were so brilliant - what is college like - we love you - we are solely beneath you and will do your evil bidding," er, uh, something like that in any event. I'll be going back with Sara and Chang tomorrow and then I'll join the team at the UNL tournament on Saturday. (Wherein I know my team will smoke everyone else, not unlike a tobbacco substance akin to a "fat blunt," seeing as how we taught them so well before we left - raised em up right so to speak.) Lincoln East will be there, and you KNOW what that means...God, I can't wait to see the look on Johnny Perez's face...

^I'll be in Omaha until Tuesday (I'll be back for New Year's when I intend to get VERY drunk), at which point the parental unit and I will head over to Rantoul, IL to spend the usual Christmas with "the fam," if you will...and you will. Should be interesting - there is a family dispute afoot and those always make for a good time...at least from my perspective. If nothing else, I will be able to escape my boredom for a day for I will get to spend some quality time with Max. I discovered that he lives suspiciously close in a town (Bloomington) equally a vapid and uninteresting as Rantoul, so we will pass some of our boredom together. Maybe we'll make the half-hour trek to the nearest mall. Pitifull...

^In any event, it is my intention to enjoy this break to the fullest...the very fullest. The kind of fullest that is only legal in Europe at my age. Thank you, College, for giving me just enough time off so that I can fall out of my studious attitudes and routines.

^That is all...thank you.

P.S. Fellow O-towners...bring it on...

^Aloha... what up jeeves?

^Stupid fuck ass shit snow. I don't recall saying that this was okay. I'm going to go pout now. I just had to get that off my chest...I'll post something legitimate tomorrow.

^It's good to be home...Did I just say that about Omaha?

^That is all...thank you.

^Aloha... and when was it last to feel so sweet and breathe you in, a sigh of relief?

^I feel so much better this morning. I just got back from whipping some ass up on my honors stats final. I think I got a really high B or a low A on it. But truth be told, I don't give a flying fuck what I got on it as long as it means that I pass the class with a C (which is not a problem since i have an A in the class already). The thing is that I'm finally fucking done with math classes for the rest of my life. I can't explain how wonderful that feels. Especially since I'm a goddamn theatre, philosophy and english major. Gen eds are so silly. When will I ever need to compute a 95% confidence interval for the average weights of passengers and their luggage...OR FOR ANYTHING ELSE FOR THAT MATTER? That's right kids...math can eat me raw and like it!

^I think I'm going to make up with Matt. I don't like fighting with him...I love him and I know it. That is to say WE love each other and WE know it. There's only like 3 more days until I won't see him for 3 weeks and I don't want to part on bad terms, mainly because I know we'll both miss each other and regret fighting. Yes, he did hurt me, but he knows it now and he apologized profusely. At first I didn't feel anything, and my inner monologue was just screaming "Weirded out..." But after sleeping on it and enjoying a gloomy morning, I am in better spirits and I no longer regard him as the bane of my existence. I don't think I was ever mad, per se. No, anger never had any part in the matter - I just wanted to cry all the damn time. For all anyone else knew, I had decided to be emo for the rest of my life and was headed for scarves, and stocking caps and Dashboard Confessional...good God, I'm glad I put a stop to that...

^And don't think for a second, you Wellness Center bitches, that just because of this spat I have forgotten about my cold that's turning into the flu and my inability to get a flu shot. May God have mercy on one of our souls if I should ever meet any of you in a dark ally...

^I'm off to go sell back some fuck ass textbooks. Hinduism, English 106, Honors Stats, Crafts = asses kicked...what, DSTP, you want some, too? Well I'll see your punk ass on Friday. Until then, party up!

^That is all...thank you.
^Aloha...i want so badly to believe...

^I don't understand. I don't understand it at all. And I don't like it. It's slowly but surely driving me crazy. I can't handle it. I don't like to cry- and this has had me crying for nearly a whole day. At first I thought it would be one of those cries that's relieving. But all I feel is emptier. Is my heart broken? It seems like such a miunscule issue...so then why can't I get past it...why can't I stop feeling so disheartened and afraid and stupid? I wish I someone would sing me to sleep...it sounds so much prettier than tears...

^That is all...thank you.

^Aloha...I am finally seeing that I was the one worth leaving - Postal Service

^Ye Olde Finals Week is upon us. Everyone is in a surprisingly good mood on the floor. I hear things aren't going so well up on the 4th floor...but that's what they get...bitches. (With the exception of Brian, Hannah, and Ashley). Some people study by spending all day in the study lounge with their noses in Bio books and some people study by spending all night in Hamilton's with their noses in frosty cold beer glasses. I've been oscillating between the two. Sunday night and Monday morning were pretty circus style as I studied for Hiduism by writing 20 pages worth of essays and committing them to memory. But it really paid off when I went to the final and just had to regurgitate those essays onto paper. I think I may try this study thing more often. I had an "English final" this morning, wherein we wrote letters to ourselves about where we wanted to be next year, in four years, and in ten years. Yes, I will actually be graded on this and it's worth about 30% of my entire grade. Can you really even call that a final? Can you really even call that a class? In any event I have an Honors Stats final at 8 tomorrow (which is just plain rude) and a DSTP final on Friday at some time...I should probably find that out relatively soon shouldn't I?

^In other news: Christmas cocktail parties are out of control wonderful and pre-partying in my room with Best Friend, Ian, Matt, and Elyse should be a requirement to graduate. Thrissa, Erin, and Lisa had a lovely little shindig last Saturday and OH MY GOD IT WAS A GOOD NIGHT. Everyone was fabulously dressed up and liquored up and just having a blast. Word around town is that I made out with Matt under the mistletoe. While I have complete memory of all other events of the evening, I will continue to deny that I have any recollection of this...even if I do.

^But alas, all good things must come to an end. Lately, I've been feeling extraordinarily sad. I'm not quite sure why, but I think it might stem from some feelings of being abandonned by Matt and knowing that when I go back to Omaha I will have to deal with those silly ass motherfuckers...but mostly because of Matt. I don't where this relationship is going and since I'm secretly a control freak...well... you know... I'm also getting sick. Right now, I think it's just a cold, but I worry it could turn into the flu, as I have been having a few of those symptoms. Now, I'm sure you're saying, "Well, Taria, why don't you just zip on down to the Wellness Center and get a flu shot?" Well, asshole, I can't get one. They only have the vaccine that people with asthma shouldn't get...go fucking figure. So if this DOES turn into the flu, you can bet your sweet ass that someone is going to have to pay...

^If you feel compelled to cheer me up...I'll be around...and very grateful...

^Countdown to ChilliFest at the brother's apartment...4 days

^Countdown to O-town and my own bed...5 days

^That is all...thank you.

^Aloha...two class days and then finals...i should study...nah...

^I have triumphantly returned from the old Thanksgiving break. It was out of control wonderful. There's nothing like gorging myself silly and sleeping 15 hours a day to put me in a good mood. The only thing I didn't enjoy about the break was Quintin. I made the mistake of feeling sorry for him when he said he wouldn't be going home and invited him along. He was a whiny little bitch the whole time. *Note to self - there is a reason why you are such a bitch, Taria. It's to keep things like this from happening...*End note. Therefore, Q will never be invited to go to Grandma's house...or anywhere with me for that matter. Excellent, that being said, let's move on.

^I took all my laundry down with me so I could wash it for free. Now it's staring at me from across the room, daring me to try and ignore it. But you see, the joke's on it, because I am one lazy mother fucker...

^I saw Finding Nemo and Monster's Inc this weekend. I squirted a couple of tears during each of them. They were SO good. I have decided that the seagulls were my favorite and that I am only watching Pixar movies from here on in...

^Hmm...this post was one rambling piece of shit wasn't it? Guess it's time for me to let go of all the black tar heroin, eh? But oh, I love it so...

^That is all...thank you.
