lovely day. went walking aimlessly with shanéll. we finally got to go to this amazing store my sister was telling me about. it´s pretty much amazing. i don´t really know how to describe it - a little bit like the gap meets h&m in women´s clothing. classic, stylish, but not uptight. totally brill. i have a feeling i´m going to lose all my pesos in that store.

i also finally ended my never-ending search for pretzels. this means that i now have pretzels to eat my nutella with. this means that bs´as just got a whole lot sweeter.

later in the afternoon we wandered over to a park down by the river. it was gorgeous. lots of obnoxiously adorable couples cuddling on the open lawns. everything about the place was perfect and we decided to waste the rest of our day there...that was, until an old creepy granvillian type came and sat down on the monument stairs diagonally across from us and began to pleasure himself. broad daylight. children everywhere. it was the single most disgusting and disturbing this i have witnessed to date. we thought we´d just turn around and ignore it, but after a while we figured out that he was watching us while doing it and attempting to hide the deed whenever anyone else passed by. that really freaked my shit out. plus, he´d been at it for damn near 2 hours by then. we quickly made our exit.

given this and the random and very wild events of wednesday night (which i may or may not disclose at a later date) - i´m just about ready to declare that i´ve seen enough male genitalia in one week to last the rest of my life.

seriously, though. i don´t think i´m okay with this.
