once again i'm reminded that my penchant for mellowdrama keeps me from seeing the forest for the trees. i've faced it. this week will be a hell week. major life decisions, projects, proposals, and papers to be dealt with each day. it will be a shit show of chaos. but i always work better under those circumstances, anyway. and really, if i failed each and every one of those tasks -- which, in reality, i most likely won't have 1/80 the problems i'm anticipating -- it's not the end of the world. i'll get over it. like i always do. like everyone always does.
the reality?
crash and burn. pick up. drink it away w/ your amigos. move it along.
c'est pas grave.

hurrah for tight deadlines and heavy amounts of procrastination. I totally developed pictures today from a trip over the summer and i got a pic of this gas station called the "Loaf & Jug" i have no idea, but it made me think of you.....perhaps the "NO LOAFING" sign.......that i believe still to this day hangs in the music office.
